After John Lewis passed away, an art show celebrating his life was sponsored by The Atlanta Film Festival, Pullam Yards, and John Lewis's social impact campaign. I was one of 10 artist selected to participate. The event was called "A Night of Good Trouble" and encouraged voter participation. Each artist was aksed to create something inspried by John Lewis's legacy. This image was inspired by the many bus rides Freedom Riders like John Lewis road across the south in the struggle for civil rights.
